All
floors need the protection of wax or special dressing.
A waxed floor is easier to clean with frequent damp-mopping
and occassional washing than one that's unwaxed.
Use water-base waxes
on any surface not damaged by water (anything except
wood and cork). Solvent base waxes can be used on most
surfaces except asphalt and rubber.
Dampen the application
pad or cloth with plain water before beginning to spread
wax. This prevents excessive absorptio of wax into the
applicator, aids in spreading wax evenly and makes application
easier. |
